Say God Can

I do not understand how people could be so dedicated to their region and have so much faith – I mean I was brought up Christian and went to a Catholic school and I was taught religion but I have a hard time just believe everything I’m told I mean I really want to have more faith but I have no reassurance ….do you think this is wrong I don’t choose to unsure with my faith its just the way I see it.

True faith is not from believing everything we are told.  Faith does come by hearing but you need to hear from God.  That you are unsure does not mean you have no faith.  It means that you need to listen to God within and not just voices all around you.

People will tell you anything, but if you meditate on the words of the Bible you will begin to hear the true God.  Find a few scriptures that speak to you and spend a little time everyday thinking about what they mean.

As to faith, consider 2nd Timothy 2:13:

If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

And he says: Before they call I will answer and while they are yet speaking I will hear.
