How does faith qualify anyone to declare something as true or false?

Christians, for example, are always declaring that they know their beliefs are true by faith and they also declare all other belief systems to be false by the same faith. From where do they derive their qualification to make such assertions?
Not all Christians are so judgmental of other faiths – don’t generalize so much. All Christians derive their beliefs from the Bible. The Bible is a huge book and sometimes Christians get hung up on a small part of it. In regard to the topic at hand many fail to heed the teaching of Jesus: “Judge not least ye be judged.”
As to other belief systems being false – leave that to God. Christians seek to bring their faith to others and often an iron fist approach is mistakenly taken by telling others they will go to hell. Yet there is concern in back of their approach — if you believed that a building you were in was on fire, then you would spread the word for others to get out. It is the same here, Christians are concerned for others and are spreading the word though not always in the most effective way.

Faith in pixies in indistinguishable from faith in gods.
