Hope and Faith And The Law of Attraction

Many wonder how the teachings of the Bible are related to the law of attraction. Some teach that the law of attraction must be evil just on the face of things because it is taught independently of the Bible and other religious books. If this is true business, farming, logical thinking and the topics of other books would also be evil.

If we dismiss the evil question we can see parallels in many areas of the Bible’s message and the law of attraction. I like to use “The Science of Getting Rich” as a statement of the Law of Attraction and will compare it to several well know scriptures.

True hope is one of the most motivating emotions going for you. I used the word emotions to describe hope, but there is more to hope than that. Hope is a real thing not just an emotion.

Hope is not wishing, often people use the word that way but a true understanding and appreciation of the word will bring a power to you that you won’t otherwise have. Often when people give up they say to themselves “I hope things will get better.” Here “hope” is used synonymously with “wish.” Wish carries no power behind it, hope on the other hand in its true sense does have power. I am talking of using hope as a verb where it means to look forward to something with desire and reasonable confidence.

Why should you hope when there is no evidence? Answering this question takes us into faith. This sounds almost like a subject for church, doesn’t it. The Bible says

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

And when taught correctly in church, hope and faith are active and real forces in your life. Many churches fail to teach the power of such things as hope and faith and wind up putting them in the realm of wishes and fantasy.

We know that Wallace Wattles had a religious background and if you read The Science of Getting Rich you will see this. But Wattles, correctly, recognizes that hope and faith are not just things for church but are active forces to use in your life. In the same way that he doesn’t use the words “law of attraction,” he doesn’t push hope and faith and yet the precepts are there in every chapter.

Hope and Faith when used correctly are forces at work in everyone’s life, not just for those who are religious. These are not religious terms. Consider:

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust (Math 5:45 KJV).

Hope and Faith are the same, just like the sun and rain, they are forces in our lives that work for all, for the just and unjust (whatever you consider just and unjust to mean).

Wattles talks about holding your vision of the thing you want in the formless substance, to see it, to visualize it, to get your emotions into the visions and be grateful. This brings you into vibration with the thing (or desired outcome) and attracts it to you. Your mind will collect data and at some point you will know what to do and then you should act.

This “Law of Attraction” is of the same stuff as described by a proper use of the terms “faith” and “hope.” It is a universal law that is echoed in the Bible and other books of faith.

Hope, actively hope, and have faith - have a calm assurance, that the things you are looking for, that you are holding in the unseen substance are yours and you have received them. Soon they will catch up to you in the physical world. These are just a few points that show how the teachings of the bible are related to the law of attraction. Vision, hope, faith, gratitude, they are all part of it.

Hope and faith, your vision, your dreams visited daily in your mind, visited in a positive and grateful spirit are what the law of attraction is all about.

When you release your faith in uncommon ways you are going to see uncommon results.

God can make a way.  Average faith says, “I’m just trying to make it through,” it only brings an average result.   If your finances look troubled remember there is another report that says Gods favor surounds you like a shield that you are blessed and whatever you put your hand to you will prosper.

God you said, I would lend and not borrow, that if I give it will be given to me.   So I am asking for your supernatural favor, draw new clients to me, cause me to stand out in the crowd, let my gifts and talents come out to the full.  God give me breaks that I don’t even deserve.  When you tap into uncommon faith - there is a boldness and a confidence to ask God for God’s goodness in greater ways.  This lets God do uncommon things and lets God work in a great way.

An uncommon faith you say, “thats for me” even if you don’t see a way.

The scritpure says,  “You have not because you ask not.”  Do you ever ask for the uncommon, the great things.  Be bold, ask with uncommon faith.  Speak with this forward vision in mind.

Ask and it shall be given you…

Mat 7:7  Ask, and it shall be given you;
seek, and ye shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8  For every one that asketh receiveth; and
he that seeketh findeth; and
to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

God can do what people cannot do.  Don’t just accept things, there is a God who can give you favor to accomplish great things, are you bold enough to ask? Will you tap into that uncommon faith?

What is holding you back?  There is no dream that God has put into your heart that is too big for you to accomplish.  If you are not streaching your faith you are not tapping in to everything God has in store.
